Dallas, TX – (April 23, 2007) –D4D Technologies, developer and manufacturer of the E4D Dentist CAD/CAM system, is pleased to announce that six dental professionals recently completed training at E4D University in stain and glaze techniques.
“We are delighted to offer further professional development opportunities to clinicians who are participating in our inaugural E4D Dentist program,” said Gary Severance, DDS, vice president of clinical affairs and marketing, who recently joined D4D Technologies from Ivoclar Vivadent. “While E4D restorations are typically seated directly after polishing, some practices want to offer more enhanced finishes.”

Taught by expert Gary Maxon, CDT, Dallas, TX, an experienced lecturer, the course covered color theory, developing subtle color differences, and creating anterior and posterior anatomical contours to match the patient’s natural teeth for aesthetically pleasing smiles.

About D4D Technologies LLC.
D4D Technologies is poised to take the dental restoration market to a higher level of productivity, patient comfort, and convenience with its E4D CAD/CAM restorative system for dental offices and laboratories. The system uses high-speed laser scanning technology to produce digital 3D impressions of teeth prepared for full contour crowns, inlays, onlays, or veneers without reflective agents, such as powder, required by other CAD/CAM systems. The intuitive DentaLogic™ software enables operators to customize restoration designs and send them wirelessly to the heavy-duty mill which uses the latest materials to produce fine esthetic restorations. Highly accurate, versatile, and easy to use, the E4D system provides significant productivity improvements over the traditional approach to creating dental restorations: for dental offices, quick one-visit restorations mean greater numbers of satisfied patients, while laboratories can significantly reduce manual labor.
Headquartered in Richardson, TX, the company has entered into agreements with three major corporations in the dental industry: Henry Schein will handle sales and distribution; 3M and Ivoclar Vivadent will supply restorative materials.
