Training Administrator

Job Description

 

Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Training, the Training Administrator is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the E4D University, a state-of-the-art dental office and laboratory training facility.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work with other Training team members, Customer Support, travel agency, hotel and customers to coordinate scheduling and pre-training activities, including preparation of training materials, system and classroom setup.

         Assist in maintaining training classroom assignments/schedules.

         Schedule attendees for training courses, typically 10-25 people per session.

         Coordinate attendee travel arrangements with travel agency and hotel.

         Assist with production of all training handouts and signage.

         Ensure facilities are in good condition and that systems and sufficient quantities of training materials are available for each session.

         Order catering and organize setup.

  1. Greet and register session attendees upon arrival and ensure that building security policies are followed.
  2. Assist session attendees with logistics and communications issues.
  3. Analyze course evaluations to determine operational efficiency of training sessions and provide recommendations for improvement.
  4. Research new methods and alternative services to improve the training experience for session attendees.
  5. Comply with documentation control requirements.
  6. Assist with other external and internal events as assigned.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  1. Previous hospitality or training facility experience.
  2. High level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism in performing duties.
  3. Exceptional customer service, communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills required for interaction with all contacts, external and internal.
  4. High degree of self-motivation and accountability for actions required.
  5. Work well in a team structure.
  6. Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
  7. Competence in using MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  8. Ability to work and achieve in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Positive, "can-do" attitude is required.
  10. Willingness to work weekends.
