SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (ANALOG/DIGITAL DESIGN) 

 

Sr. Electrical Engineer with �Hands On� experience developing board and system-level products. �Must be highly disciplined �and comfortable working in an execution-oriented environment. �Opportunity for growth and advancement.

 

Job description

� Design stepper/servo motor-based motion control systems including power driver stages and DSP control algorithms
� Design multi-dimensional scanning mirror drivers and laser modulators with synchronization to camera system
� Design CMOS imaging systems for miniature medical applications

Requirements

� BS/MSEE with at least 5 � 8 years of hands-on experience in analog and digital design

� Strong analog design skills with experience in designing switching power supplies or motor drives preferred

� Strong digital design skills, experience in designing systems with FPGAs and embedded microcontrollers preferred

� Experience designing servo and/or stepper motor drives using DSP a major plus

� Experience writing embedded software, especially closed-loop control applications a major plus

� Experience using CMOS image sensors, CCDs, lasers, and related optics a major plus
� High degree of self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment with minimal direction
� Strong written and verbal communication skills
� Comfortable working in Windows/MS Office environment
